FAQ
Here are answers to the questions that I get the most often!
Yes, I happily welcome couples, families, and group lessons. However, you may have to contact me with details about your situation so we can set up the correct range environment, rental firearms, etc. Use my contact form if the “book a private lesson” tab doesn’t have an option that suits your needs.
For private lessons at P2K Sports, you must provide your own ammunition or purchase ammunition from the range.
No, I’m happy to provide eye and ear protection, but if you won’t be bringing your own please mention that in the appointment notes so that I have plenty of PPE for everyone.
No! I’m more than happy to provide firearms for students, but you will need to purchase ammunition from the range when you arrive.
I grew up in a home without guns, but had opportunities to shoot with friends a couple times before I graduated high school. I didn’t get really interested in learning to shoot until I was about 20. At the age of 21 I bought my first gun, found my first class, and the rest is history!
At this time, I have a great team of assistant instructors and am not actively looking to hire anyone. However, if you are looking for learning opportunities, I am always happy to allow someone to RSO or Assistant Instruct at one of my classes in order to provide constructive criticism, coaching tips, and mentorship.
Yes! I have a variety of dry-fire course curriculums, as well as non-gun curriculums that I teach to small groups, churches and schools. These curriculums include Stop The Bleed, Pepper Spray and Non-Lethal Tools, Preparing for the Active Shooter, Situational Awareness, What Is “Being A Good Witness?”, Learning to Use Your Voice, and Getting Out of Restraints. If you have a particular class you’re interested in, but don’t see an option listed, contact me!
